A PERFECT CIRCLE美國大選日出版政治歌專輯

11月2日為美國大選日，同一天，A Perfect Circle會出版樂隊的政治歌曲專輯，也是樂隊的第三張專輯eMOTIVe。

除了Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums和Passive這兩首原創歌曲外，其餘十首皆為改編歌，選曲範疇跨越Punk、Metal、New Wave、Delta Blues、Folk、Soul等等，主唱Maynard James Keenan形容這是結集著有關戰爭、和平、愛與貪婪的歌曲。

eMOTIVe內的改編曲目包括有Crucifix的Annihilation，John Lennon的Imagine，Elvis Costello的(What's So Funny 'Bont)Peace, Love And Understanding，Marvin Gaye的What's Going On，Led Zeppelin的When The Levee Breaks，Devo的Freedom Of Choice，Depeche Mode的People Are People，Black Flag的Gimme Gimme Gimme，Fear的Let's Have A War，Joni Mitchel的Fiddle And Drum等。

而結他手Billy Howerdel亦會開金口為Peace, Love And Understanding和Freedom Of Choice主唱。

碟內還有前度女成員Paz Lenchantin、Nine Inch Nails的Danny Lohner和Telefon Tel Aviv的Josh Eustis參與。

從唱片公司的文案上得悉目前的A Perfect Circle只餘下Maynard、Billy和鼓手Josh Freese三人。換句話說Thirteenth Step時期的Jeordie White（前Marilyn Manson）和James Iha（前Smashing Pumpkins）相信已離隊。
